Program Note
Pacific Coast Highway (2014), written for Cold Blue Music, is a primarily textural three-piano piece built of polyrhythmic layers of continuously shifting/drifting harmonies. Tonight it is performed with one live and two prerecorded pianos. (PCH, performed by Aron Kallay, is available from Cold Blue on Lentz’s In the Sea of Ionia CD.)
