Music inspired by The End and The Beginning. The first half of the program explores finality in some form or another: the loss of a parent, the loss of a movement, the loss of an ecosystem, and profound sadness felt when one doesn’t even know what, or who, they have lost. The second half explores the beginning, as it rises from the ashes of what was once thought to be the end. Music inspired by the literal stops and starts in glitches, the process of remixing, the return trip home, the healing process after a serious illness, and music inspired by ancestors long gone who continue to play an active role in our lives.
