Mark Saya
Composer
Mark Saya composes primarily for voice, piano, and percussion instruments. His works have been performed in countries throughout Europe as well as in Canada, Mexico, Australia, South Korea, and Japan. Performances in the United States include those at the Great Hall of Cooper Union, Alice Tully Hall, the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and many major universities. Since 1992 Saya has taught composition and music theory at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
