“Put on your sunglasses — here comes the brightest new music group you’ve heard in years. When these players aren’t too busy getting Grammy® nominations or playing LA’s premiere venues (LA Phil, LACO, LA Opera, Jacaranda, Monday Evening Concerts…) they’re commissioning & premiering works from tomorrow’s tastemakers.

Brightwork newmusic takes no prisoners, and leaves no listeners behind. Catch them…if you can.” – KPFK

Their members perform with the LA Chamber Orchestra, LA Opera, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and a dozen other Southern California orchestras besides. Brightwork members are also fully engaged in the vital task of passing along their own musical experience to the next generations, and Brightwork members teach at the University of Southern California, Chapman University, University of Redlands, and Pomona College, serve as coaches for various organizations, and are available under the Brightwork umbrella for various outreach programs.
