A native Angeleno, Dustin Seo is a cellist and arts administrator committed to building community spaces in LA through music. In his previous role as Associate Director at Street Symphony, Dustin committed his artistic practice to organizing and empowering communities in Los Angeles, specifically through partnerships with Skid Row based arts organizations and service providers. Dustin now turns his artistry towards “Laós Chamber Music,” a chamber music series hosted at Church of Our Saviour Episcopal, in San Gabriel. Beyond his organizing and leadership roles, Dustin is an active freelance cellist in Los Angeles, and has played with regional ensembles including the Redlands Symphony Orchestra and Kaleidoscope Chamber Orchestra, and has recorded on several projects for media and entertainment companies such as Riot Games and Disney Enterprises.

Dustin is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music (Rochester, NY), where he received his Bachelor of Music degree with distinction in Cello Performance, and Musical Arts. Recently, Dustin was named a 2022 fellow of the Episcopal Church Foundation. Dustin is also the recipient of the 2021 California Arts Council Established Artist Fellowship. Dustin plays on a 2011 cello by James McKean.
