Trio Kobayashi (Allen Fogel, Matt Barbier, and Luke Storm) specializes in the emerging field of just intonation music for brass. Founded to perform the music of Wolfgang von Schweinitz, Kobayashi continues to evolve through relationships with composers including Larry Polansky, Marc Sabat, Jürg Frey, Ulrich Krieger and Nicholas Deyoe. Kobayashi has been in residence at UCSD in addition to performing at RedCat for their Considering Wagner, CEAIT: Xenakis- Now and Tomorrow, and New Music After Grisey Festivals.
