An international classical pianist, Clare Yeo began training at age 3 in her native Singapore. Clare has appeared in concert at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and The Esplanade in Singapore.

In 2003, Clare made history by becoming the youngest Singaporean to be accepted with a full scholarship to the prestigious Juilliard School of Music’s pre-college division in New York City. Clare made history again by becoming the youngest Singaporean to perform at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City.

Clare gave her debut recital at the age of 9 at Singapore’s Alliance Française, accompanying the release of her album “Journey Through Music with Clare”. A year later, she was a recipient of the HSBC’s Youth Excellence Award. During her years in New York. Clare has won multiple competitions such as the 7th New York Music Competition, the New Jersey Young Pianist Competition, and the Gina Bachauer Competition at Juilliard in both 2004 and 2007. Also in 2007, Clare was invited to perform at The Duke of Edinburgh Award ceremony in the New South Wales Parliament House in Sydney, Australia. Since then, Clare has performed at festivals in Aspen (2004 and 2005), Lucca, Italy (2008), and Burgos, Spain (2009).

Clare was recently featured in the promotional video for the highly anticipated release of “Keyscape” by Spectrasonics, alongside the legendary Herbie Hancock and Greg Phillinganes. She remains an active performer both as a soloist, chamber musician and composer. She recently composed a score for an animated short by Ambar Navarro titled “Pet Shop”.

Clare studied at Juilliard School under the direction of Victoria Mushkatkol, with Veda Kaplinsky at the Aspen Music Festival, with Ory Shihor at Colburn School, Steinway Artist Tedd Joselson in Singapore, and Steinway Artist Vicki Ray at California Institute of the Arts.
